Office Manager & PA


Bell Pottinger is an international communications consultancy headquartered in London with a global staff of more than 250 professionals and 60 partners. Bell Pottinger’s Political Division, one of the UK’s leading cross-party public affairs companies for thirty years, is recruiting for the position of PA/Office Manager.

The role

  • PA to the Chairman and Managing Director of Bell Pottinger Political
  • Full administrative support, including diary management and travel itineraries
  • Day to day contact with the offices of corporate CEOs, politicians and senior officials
  • Ensuring the delivery of briefing papers and research documents for meetings
  • Monitoring and coordinating correspondence and enquiries
  • Organising office equipment, stationery, telephones, mobile phones and kitchen accessories
  • Arranging formal inductions for all new Bell Pottinger Political staff
  • Managing relationships with IT as appropriate
  • Maintaining division databases and records
  • Arranging and organising workshops, dinners and party conference events
  • Monitoring, research and support for client accounts from time to time

 

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience of diary, travel and expenses management
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience of minute taking
  • Written and spoken English to a GCSE level or equivalent
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office applications

 

Desirable:

  • Interest in politics and/or current affairs
  • Prior public relations agency experience
  • Experience of a Political or Corporate environment
