Following its annual Partner Selection process, the company has confirmed the promotion of four Associate Partners to the position of Partner. All four new Partners are based in London and include Julia Hipkiss and Victoria Naylor-Leyland from the recently launched Engage by Bell Pottinger team, James Gater from the Global Advisory team and Andrew Allan from the central Finance Team.
The promotions will all come into effect from 1st April.
Julia Hipkiss has been with Bell Pottinger for five years and specialises in delivering consultancy, campaigns and content, she has specific expertise and experience in the property sector. During her career at Bell Pottinger, she has devised and delivered national and international campaigns for a wide range of clients. Julia also leads Bell Pottinger’s drive towards better measurement and evaluation in communications.
Victoria Naylor-Leyland is Head of Creative and Content at Engage by Bell Pottinger. She joined the Company 18 months ago having spent a decade working in television as a Producer and Director on programmes for ITV1, Sky and the BBC. Victoria runs a team that works for clients across the Agency, delivering campaigns, video production, strategy and SEO expertise.
James Gater’s work with the Global Advisory team focuses on resolving communications issues for governments and multinational operations in Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East, alongside the implementation of change, capacity and resilience-building programmes. Prior to joining Bell Pottinger, James spent a decade in the Royal Navy, which included periods as British Forces spokesman and leading NATO’s Afghan press office. He remains a Special Adviser to the Royal Navy’s Head of Communications, advising the service on matters of strategy, continuous improvement and research.
Andrew Allan joined Bell Pottinger 16 months ago and is responsible for overseeing the management and financial accounting teams across all Agency offices. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and previously held roles at Publicis.Sapient, where he was EU Financial Operations Manager and Grant Thornton. Andrew qualified as an accountant with MHA MacIntyre Hudson.
