Sam oversees Bell Pottinger’s operations in Greater China. He specialises in handling complex corporate, financial and political stories, and guiding senior leaders through critical situations.
In Asia, he has advised executives at the aluminium producer China Hongqiao, department store operator Parkson Retail, jewellery brand Pandora, and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. He also managed the announcement of Global Switch’s new HK$4 billion data centre development in Tseung Kwan O.
Previously, Sam spent four years in the Middle East, working with government entities including a Saudi based development bank, Dubai’s largest free zone operator, and the UAE Ministry of Labour. Sam also worked in London for seven years, initially with the British Chambers of Commerce before moving to a leading financial PR consultancy where he advised numerous FTSE 100s, including BG Group. Sam holds a Politics degree from Cardiff University.
